Ps 23
1 Cor 15:20-28
Mt 25:31-46
May I speak in the name of God, whose kingdom has come among us.
Dear brothers and sisters of Christ the King, it is a great joy to be with you today on your Patronal Festival. Thank you for your invitation.
Archdeacon Julian, thanks to you in particular.
And it is a particular pleasure to be with you in the year that you celebrate the 50th anniversary of this building, and the 40th anniversary of its consecration.
Today is the last Sunday of the Church’s calendar – which has become increasingly widely known as ‘Christ the King’.
