Archbishop Thabo Makgoba - St Saviour’s Claremont – Feast of Title
10 August 2008
Isaiah 9:2 - 7
Acts 4:8 - 12
Luke 2:15 - 21
Psalm 8
May I speak in the name of Jesus, ‘for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved’.
Dear brothers and sisters of St Saviour’s, it is a great joy to be with you this morning, and to celebrate your feast of title with you. Thank you, Fr John, for your invitation.
One of the delights of becoming Archbishop of Cape Town is to visit the parishes of the Diocese, so I can get to know you all, and you can get to know me.
